In 2017 Darren and Liz were shocked to have heard that there amazing work had been recognised and that they'd been nominated for The Medway Messengers 'Pride in Medway'award 

They went to the ceremony delighted that all their hard work was being recognised but were in for a suprise when they found out they'd won
